Bulletproof Window
We are leading providers of bulletproof windows for all kinds of residential buildings and commercial facilities.
We offer bulletproof windows with a wide range of ballistic ratings so our clients can choose the appropriate level to defend their properties against active shooters, robbers, and other types of intruders. We work with all our clients to find the right bulletproof window solutions for their unique security concerns and budget.
Why Choose to Install Bulletproof Windows?
There are also a variety of commercial facilities that choose to install bulletproof windows to provide security in the case of an active shooter on the property. Bulletproof windows prevent loss of life by stopping many common types of bullets. They also give individuals inside a building time to react to an attack by calling the police, planning an escape, barricading themselves in a safe area, or reacting in another way.
Regular windows don’t do anything to stop an armed attacker or protect those inside from ballistic attacks. An attacker armed with a gun or even a simple tool can easily smash a standard window to gain access to a building and harm whoever is inside. However, with bulletproof windows, even an attacker with a gun won’t be able to shatter the glass to gain entry easily. Although a high-caliber firearm can penetrate many lower-grade bulletproof windows, they will significantly delay any armed intruder.
Police typically take at least 6-10 minutes to respond to an active shooter scenario. A lot of bad things can happen in 6-10 minutes, but the added time to react to an attack that bulletproof glass provides can make the difference between life and death. Our comprehensive selection of bulletproof windows in varying grades of bullet resistance allows us to come up with the ideal solution for your facility or property based on the perceived threat level.
Additionally, we can retrofit many of our bulletproof windows onto your existing frames and even over your existing window glass. We can even apply a non-ballistic glaze to your existing windows to make them resistant to impact when you don’t need an entirely bulletproof solution. We’re dedicated to providing our clients with the level of security they need against active shooters and forced entry.
ArmorPlast Security Shields and Ballistic Grade Sheets
We are proud to supply our ArmorPlast bulletproof window panels in a full range of ballistic ratings for whatever your security needs are. If you want to install non-ballistic security windows to protect against robbery and forced entry, we have ArmorPlast sheets for that. On the other hand, if you wish to install bulletproof windows to defend against shooters, we have a range of ballistic grade sheets to protect against many different types of firearms.
All our ArmorPlast security products are composed of polycarbonate laminate sheets that don’t lose their visibility after repeated impacts. The outer surfaces have an easy-to-clean hard coating that resists graffiti, marring, and chemical attacks. All sheets also have a limited warranty against coating failure, hazing, and yellowing. ArmorPlast is preferred by high-security facilities, including government buildings, correctional and detention centers, religious buildings, banks, and more.
ArmorPlast 25
This is our lowest grade of non-ballistic glazing shield. It is not bulletproof, but it won’t shatter or lose its strength after a ballistic impact. It can receive multiple gunshots or other impacts without cracking or breaking apart. It is an effective barrier for keeping would-be intruders from gaining access to a building. Many retail stores choose to use ArmorPlast 25 to protect merchandise against smash-and-grab robberies.
AmorPlast 375
This is a mid-range, two-ply containment-grade sheet with a thickness of 3/8 of an inch. It is designed to withstand prolonged attacks for up to 30 minutes, making it ideal for preventing forced entry. For example, schools, religious facilities, and retail storefronts often choose ArmorPlast 375 to add security against shooters trying to gain entry, armed robbers, or other intruders.
ArmorPlast 50
This is a 0.5-inch-thick, three-ply bulletproof sheet that we designed specifically for institutions like schools, religious facilities, detention centers, jails, psychiatric hospitals, convenience stores, and check cashing locations. ArmorPlast 50 meets the HP White TP 0500 Level A and ASTM F1233-08 Level HG1 for ballistic attacks from a .38 special.
ArmorPlast 75
This is a 0.75-inch-thick, three-ply bulletproof sheet composed of polycarbonate and acrylic laminate. Facilities like schools, government buildings, religious buildings, banks, detention centers, 24-hour convenience stores, and cash transaction windows choose ArmorPlast 75 for a higher level of ballistic protection against active shooters. It meets the UL 752 Level 1 rating for 9mm ballistic attacks.
ArmorPlast 100
This is a 1-inch-thick, four-ply bulletproof polycarbonate laminate sheet. ArmorPlast 100 meets the HP White TP 0500 Level lV and UL 752 Level 2 rating for a ballistic attack from a .357 Magnum. It’s a solution chosen by many of the same types of facilities that use ArmorPlast 75 but creates bulletproof windows with a higher ballistic resistance grade.
ArmorPlast 125
This is a 1.25-inch-thick, four-ply bulletproof polycarbonate laminate sheet. It is specifically designed for areas with high protection requirements like doors, windows, and other targets and entry points. ArmorPlast 125 meets the HP White TP 0500 Level lV, ASTM F 1233 Class 5, and UL 752 Level 3 rating for a ballistic attack by a .44 Magnum.
ArmorPlast 125MS
This is a 1.25-inch-thick, four-ply bulletproof polycarbonate and acrylic laminate sheet. It is rated to withstand multiple shots from high-velocity 9mm firearms. ArmorPlast 125MS meets the UL 752 Level 6 rating to withstand ballistic attacks by an Uzi.
How Do You Choose the Right Level of Bulletproof Windows?
When you choose Campbell to install your bulletproof windows or security glass, the first step is a threat assessment. We will begin by talking to you over the phone to understand what the perceived threats to you or your property are. We will then inspect your property to evaluate the overall condition and measure any windows that you want to make bulletproof.
We will consider the type of threats you want to defend against, your budget, and any other goals you have when determining what grades of bulletproof windows to install in your residence or commercial facility. Most private clients opt for a UL752 Level 1-rated material for their bulletproof windows. This provides a good level of ballistic protection without the high price tag of higher-rated glass.
If you want bulletproof windows for a large facility like a government building or other high-security building, you might consider installing a higher level. Commercial clients for buildings like courthouses, police stations, and municipal halls often have bigger budgets and higher security needs. We will work closely with you to make sure we install the right level of bulletproof windows for your security concerns and budget.
Keep in mind that the structural strength of a building can be a limiting factor when choosing what kind of bulletproof windows to install. The higher the ballistic rating, the thicker and heavier the window. Standard window frames might need to be replaced or reinforced to support higher grades of bulletproof windows.
No matter what your security needs and budget are, we will work to ensure that we find the best solution for you and your property. All our bulletproof window glass has been rated by Underwriter’s Laboratories according to the window’s bullet resistance in a lab test. We’ll talk you through everything to help you choose from our comprehensive range of bulletproof window options.
Bulletproof Window Manufacturers and Installation Experts
When we’re not out making customer’s properties more secure, we’re working on development. We always strive to find new materials that are cheaper, lighter, and more bullet resistant. We are committed to our clients, and we want to be able to provide them with the highest levels of ballistic security glass that we can.
We install bulletproof windows on new construction and can also retrofit any building with bulletproof window glass. When we retrofit the glass on a building, it usually works out much cheaper for the customer than a complete window replacement. This is because we can often install bulletproof window glass onto the existing framing without needing to rip it out and replace it.
All our bulletproof windows are manufactured and installed by us. When we come to install the new windows on your property, we aim to do so in the least amount of time and the least disruptive fashion. After we manufacture the bulletproof windows, the whole installation process typically takes 1-2 days. If we do need more than a day to install all the windows, we’ll never leave your windows boarded up overnight.
